In Chapter 3 we have revealed how the ‘seventy-week prophecy’ of Daniel 9:26-27 is central to our thesis on the Third Secret of Fatima. It is generally accepted that the ‘weeks’ meant ‘periods of seven years’ and that the ‘last week’ revealed events in the last days. According to Daniel 9:27, it will start with the making of ‘a covenant with many’ which will lead on to the ‘removal of the victim and sacrifice’ and the setting up of the ‘abomination of desolation’. Clearly then we must determine the time when a leader will make such a ‘covenant with many’.
If that prophecy is indeed relevant we must look for some event, logically proposed by some Church leader, which has the potential of abolishing ‘victim and sacrifice’ – namely the Mass. And we do not have to look far: consider Pope Francis’s Apostolic Exhortation ‘Amoris Laetitia’ of 19th March 2016. What this proposes is that people in ‘irregular marriages’ that is contravening the commandment against adultery – ought to have access to Holy Communion.
Why is this subversive? Because the Sacrament being the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ signifies ‘victim and sacrifice’ and that it establishes God’s own covenant with His people, shielding them from the just anger that their sins merit. So to open the way for what in clear terms is sacrilege by adulterers, amounts to a ‘covenant with many’ with destructive potential.
Our times are notable for the spread of ‘false ecumenism’, and what is being established by Amoris Laetitita is a concession to worldly demands for the Church to conform to its values.
Taking the above as the start of the last week, how do we compute the time of its climax? It has been established that as far as the prophecy goes, a ‘year’ is measured as 360 days, for this is the way years were measured by the Jews and others in ancient times. Therefore a span of ‘half-a-week’ implies 360 X 3.5 namely 1260 days, and that will end on 15th Sept 2019.
Consider also the following correlation
According to St Jerome & the Fathers, ANTIOCHUS IV foreshadowed the coming of Antichrist
Both employ a ‘strategy of subversion’, striking at central focus of worship
In the persecutions, God’s purpose was not merely the punish but to save a faithful remnant.
In the last fulfilment it will purify the Church so as to prepare it for the Second Advent of Christ.
THE CORRELATION..
(1)The attack of 167 BC was predisposed by ‘Jewish leaders’ (1 Mac 1)
(2) Who sought a ‘covenant with many’ to embrace pagan practices, thus false-ecumenism.
(3) so won approval to erect a gymnasium promoting sodomy (thus breaking God’s covenant).
(4) Which predisposed Antiochus invasion and his setting up ‘the abomination of desolation’
SO THE LEADERS FALSE ECUMENISM – LED TO A DISRUPTION OF GOD’S COVENANT WHICH COMPARES WITH A BREAKING OF COVENANT THROUGH ‘AMORIS LAETITIA’:
- Initiated by Pope
- Based on false ecumenism with the world
- Condoning both adultery and sacrilege – which is disruptive of God’s covenant ?and as that covenant is established by the Mass, it is bound to disrupt it. Again a leader has legalised sacrilege which implies the end of God’s covenant. It will end the sovereign protection which the Mass provides so provoking God’s punishment.
